Adventist University Zurcher (AUZ) is a bilingual (French and English ) Seventh-dayAdventist tertiary institution, operated by the Indian Ocean Union Mission, and is locatedin the city of Antsirabe, Madagascar, an island in the Indian Ocean, South-East of Africa.It offers undergraduate degrees in five Colleges (Theology, Business, Information Systems,Education, Nursing).
The university, though relatively small in population (about 20faculty and 200 students), is represented by several nationalities. AUZ is seeking to fillthe position of Dean and Professor of Information Systems Department. Adventists who hold adoctoral degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or Masters degree with more thanthree years of university-level teaching experience are invited to apply.
Preference willbe given to candidates who possess administrative, leadership, and social relationshipsskills. The candidate should be fluent in French and/or English, and be available to beginworking in September 2010, to be able to take up his/her administrative and teachingresponsibilities for the I Semester 2010/2011 which begins in October 2010.
